2024 Colorado Heroes Day and Centennial Cup
What a way to celebrate the 4th of July!
Polo, the Westernaires, a Double Wide concert and YOU! It was the perfect Day at Denver Polo Club on June 30, 2024 as Wide Open Saloon presented Colorado Heroes Day and afterparty.
On the field, the polo line-up included the Centennial Cup finals as well as an exhibition match featuring these teams:
- Cherry Hills Polo Ranch/Lost Creek Ranch for Purple Wave vs. Victory Polo for Wide Open Saloon
- Mira Vista for Bentley Denver vs. UBS
- Jay's Valet vs. Provaci Prosecco/Fortune Wok to Table
Results:
- Winning Team (A Flight) - Lost Creek Ranch / Cherry Hills Polo Ranch
- MVP - Bruce Gottwald
- Best Playing Pony - Big Black owned and played by Jason Wates
Between the matches,
the Westernaires presented the flag and treated guests with an inspired Independence Day performance. We transitioned to a live concert by Double Wide after wrapping up the polo portion of the day with the Bentley Denver Divot Stomp. Spectators joined Bentley Denver to help repair the field over a with a sip of complimentary prosecco provided by Fortune Wok to Table. An appearance by military veterans on motorcycles led guests to the concert and afterparty.
